Seaside Serenity is a nostalgic interior collection inspired by the British coastline, especially Langland Bay and Brighton seafront.

This project is deeply personal to me because growing up, I spent many family holidays visiting Langland, and it became a place I always associated with comfort, calmness, and escape. During difficult times in my life, especially when I was unwell and struggling emotionally, being by the sea helped me feel peaceful and grounded. I wanted to capture that feeling within interior spaces, creating designs that bring the outside in and reconnect people with nature through biophilic design.

The collection celebrates local coastal flora and fauna through hand-drawn and watercolour motifs of oyster and mussel shells, Bukhara fleeceflowers, and lime leaves. A calming colour palette of soft blues, pebble greys, muted yellows, and touches of coral reflects the gentle tones of the seaside landscape.

Using screen printing, digital fabric printing, and embroidery techniques, the designs were layered onto linen, cotton, wool gauze, and wallpaper to create soft, delicate surfaces inspired by coastal memories, tranquillity, and wellbeing.
